A Historic Dallas Property

The Shops of Highland Park is a classic collection of neighborhood retailers and restaurants located in the heart of one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Dallas. The 45,000-square-foot property occupies the 4200 block of Oak Lawn Avenue and has been a core asset in the Dallas community for over 70 years.

Leo Corrigan, Sr., built The Shops of Highland Park in the early 1940s. The property remained in the Corrigan family for several generations and has undergone major renovation twice since its original development. After a fire in the 1980s destroyed several of the stores, the Corrigan family purchased a $215,000 fire truck and donated it to the town of Highland Park. In return, the city agreed to sell 50,000 square feet of parking lot land to the center.

Family-owned and operated Stockdale Investment Group, the center’s current owners, looks forward to continuing the property’s tradition as a landmark establishment in the community. For more information about Stockdale Investment Group, visit: www.stockdaleinvest.com.
